Travelling to Devonport
The Geelong Devonport ferry route connects Mainland Australia with Tasmania. Currently the Spirit of Tasmania operates up to 7 times each week with day and night sailings (durations from around 9 hours 30 minutes).
Devonport Airport (DPO) is 10 km from the town centre Devonport in the north of Tasmania. Devonport is serviced by Qantas and Rex airlines. Online Check-in is available for QantasLink Australian domestic bookings between 24 hours and 30 minutes before your flight departure.
Transport
The Devonport airport is approximately a 10-minute drive from the city centre. Charges apply for car parking. Taxis will cost approximately A$25 to the city centre

When visiting the paranaple convention centre, the Devonport Visitor Information Centre is located in the adjacent Arts Centre.

Wheelchair Access
There are accessible toilets, ramps and lifts throughout our venue, including wheelchair friendly access from the car park.
Parents Rooms
Our Parent Room offers a comfortable and private space for parents and children. Located on the ground floor, the parent room feature everything you need to change or feed in privacy and comfort.
Public Access
Entry to the paranaple convention centre is via Market Square, the central pedestrian square located off Rooke street and in the heart of the paranaple precinct.
Market Square is adjacent to the multi-level carpark, accessible from Best Street and Fenton Way.
The entrance to the paranaple convention centre is through automatic doors directly off Market Square. Universal access is available at the touch of a button, providing ease for patrons with access difficulties.
Inside the paranaple centre, you will discover both escalators and elevators to take you to the relevant floor for your event.
Parking
CBD (Multi-level) Car Park – Pay As You Leave Car Parks
The Multi-level car park is located directly behind the paranaple convention centre, with disability parking, elevator access and flat walking surface between the car park and paranple precinct. Fees apply
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm – $1.00 per half hour.
Saturday and Sunday and after 6pm Monday to Friday – $2.00 flat fee.
$5.00 all day parking available on the top-level of the car park.
On-Street Parking Meters
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm and Saturday 8.30am to 2pm. Fees apply.
Please note that vehicles must be moved after the signed time limit.
All parking meters and Pay and Display Car Parks are free on public holidays.
