Entry to the paranaple convention centre is via Market Square, the central pedestrian square located off Rooke street and in the heart of the paranaple precinct. Market Square is adjacent to the multi-level carpark, accessible from Best Street and Fenton Way.
The entrance to the paranaple convention centre is through automatic doors directly off Market Square. Universal access is available at the touch of a button, providing ease for patrons with access difficulties. Inside the paranaple centre, you will discover both escalators and elevators to take you to the relevant floor for your event.

By Sea
The Spirit of Tasmania Ferry terminal is located 5 minutes from paranaple Convention Centre. The Geelong Devonport ferry route connects Mainland Australia with Tasmania, operating 7 times each week with day and night sailings (durations from around 9 hours 30 minutes).
By Air
Devonport Airport in the North of Tasmania is serviced by 2 airlines Qantas & Rex, located just 10km away.
By Road
Devonport is 280 km from Hobart and 101 km from Launceston via the National Highway 1. Bicycle parking and maintenance hubs can be found in Market square.
Visitor Information
When visiting the paranaple convention centre, the Devonport Visitor Information Centre is located adjacent. Call by to chat with the friendly staff about accommodation, attractions, maps and get lots of helpful local advice.
Parking
The multi level CBD pay-as-you-leave car park is located directly behind the paranaple Convention Centre, with disability parking, elevator access and flat walking surface between the car park and paranple precinct. EV charging stations are available. Fees apply.
- Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm – $1.00 per half hour.
- Saturday and Sunday and after 6pm Monday to Friday – $2.00 flat fee.
- $5.50 all day parking available on the top-level of the car park.
There are a range of nearby accommodation options from newly constructed hotels, comfortable motels, heritage B&Bs and family friendly beachside cabins.
For convenience you can’t beat the newly built Novotel located within the precinct or the Gateway Hotel by Nightcap Plus 3 minutes walk down the road.
