Event Kit
Catering is provided exclusively by our in-house Chef, Hussein Tas of Elevated Catering.
The paranaple convention centre accommodate functions and events with varying needs.
Access to level 3 is simple and convenient with a large 4-tonne freight elevator capable of transporting goods and materials directly on to the floor from an external undercover loading bay.
The loading bay is accessed by a laneway, off Best Street, providing off-street, uninterrupted loading and unloading.
All deliveries should be clearly addressed with your function name to:

When in the building during an emergency, please take direction from the fire wardens located on the floor.
To evacuate:
- Use nearest emergency exit
- Take others with you
- Proceed to assembly area as shown
- Do not use lifts or escalators
Do not enter the building until safe to do so.

- Logo’s
The logo pack contains the different versions of the centre logo, to be used in your event marketing. Please provide a copy for final approval before publishing.

- Signage
Due to the open nature of the building signage is not premitted in common spaces of the centre. Banner flag fittings are located outside in Market Square, arrangements can be made if you choose to utilise these.
- Digital Display Boards
Your event will be displayed on the digital display boards located throughout the building. This directional signage will assist delegates to the room relevant to your event. Please see function and event staff to ensure correct wording is displayed.
- Market Square Screen
Do you want to advertise your event in the paranaple convention centre? Please see function and event staff to discuss.
This can be a great marketing tool to increase your attendance – your event will be displayed on a rotational basis will all precinct events.

You are permitted to film and/or photograph your event, within the location and duration of your hire.
If you are seeking permission to film and/or photograph outside of your event, or requesting permission to film and/or photograph another event, please contact the paranaple arts centre.
The paranaple convention centre offers a professional Box Office service, comprising of a computerised ticketing service located in the foyer of the paranple arts centre (adjacent).
Our experienced staff offer ticketing for a range of events from major sporting fixtures to performing arts and community activities and is the premier ticketing agent in North/West Tasmania.
